WAPS

The White House Association of Parents

WAPS is the Parents’ Association for the White House Prep School and Woodentops Day Nursery. WAPS aim is to foster a vibrant school community, raising money for the school and the schools’ nominated charity, and act as a forum in which school-wide issues can be discussed.

Every parent automatically becomes a member of WAPS. The WAPS committee, which includes representatives from every class, meets twice a term with senior staff to discuss events and fundraising activities.

The White House is an extremely friendly community, with many close friendships forged at the school gates. Throughout the year WAPS organises various events including cake sales, drinks parties, Christmas events and picnics as well as a Summer Ball. Teachers, pupils and parents show tremendous commitment to fundraising and we are very proud that we help the school donate thousands of pounds to its nominated charity every year.

This year we are focusing our efforts on the community, supporting Ace of Clubs which helps our local homeless people.
