The long lasting love of learning is developed through a strong support system which includes home, family, their peers, their teachers and their school.
The curriculum must be broad and balanced with art, music and sport being as important for lifelong learning as traditional academic subjects.
All children should fulfil their potential in a safe, secure environment where they can enjoy being children.
I have only been at The White House for one year but I have really enjoyed my time here so far. My favourite thing about school is making friends. My favourite subjects are art, sport and maths. All the teachers are really kind.
Molly, Year 6 pupil
My favourite thing about the school is the people. They are always there for you when you fall down or if you struggle with something.
Nadia, Year 6 pupil
The White House Preparatory School is an awesome place and you should send your kids here (if you are a kid then send yourself here). Also, I should mention that the food is great!
We are delighted to invite you to a private Open Morning event at The White House Prep, exclusively for families looking at Reception and occasional places in our older years.
The Open Morning will take place on Friday 6th February and will begin at 9:30am with guided tours with pupils from Year 6, who will have recently finished their 11+ exams and will be able to talk to you about their experience and their amazing school offers including St Paul’s, King’s Wimbledon, Dulwich College, Alleyn’s, Emmanuel, JAGS, Francis Holland, City of London, Westminster, Wimbledon High, Benenden, Brighton College and more. With 40% of children receiving scholarships in Art, Music, Sport, DT and Academics, we are proud to deliver a range of choices for our families.
The tour will give you a closer look at what happens in the classroom from Reception-Year 6 with a chance to explore our Super Curriculum which includes Nurture in Reception, Enterprise lessons, Choice and our Futures programme in Year 6 - areas where we can develop children’s natural curiosity to enhance their learning and interests outside the classroom.
The school offers wrap around care from 8am-6pm with 14 weeks of holiday camps. Spaces limited. RSVP admissions@whitehouseschool.com
We have partnered with @littlevillagehq to provide much needed items for local families. If you have any items to donate please come along to The White House Prep School in SW12 on Friday 7th November and we will do the rest!
The White House and Woodentops Summer Art Exhibition 2025!
It was a joy to work with the children across all year groups to bring this exhibition to life. While many pieces are inspired by Grayson Perry’s, Delusions of Grandeur at The Wallace Collection and the visionary outsider artist Madge Gill, others reflect free exploration and playful experimentation with a variety of materials and techniques. Many projects are collaborative and involve multiple year groups. Art for All!
Winners!! We are thrilled to be the winner of @education_choices_magazine award for working with local charities!
We value the importance of preparing our children to become compassionate members of society. Strong community connections enrich learning and we are proud to maintain close relationships with local and national charities.
