How Does The Admissions Process Work at White House School?

Admissions normally take place in Pre Reception (3 +), Reception (4+) and Year 3 (7+). We will also accept children in other year groups, subject to availability of places. Scholarships are available upon entry into Year 3 (7+).

How do I register my child at The White House?

You can register your child for a place at The White House electronically via the website and pay the £70 registration fee, or download the form and return it with the fee paid by bank transfer.

What does the admissions process at The White House involve?

The process at this independent school in Clapham runs through several stages: an initial enquiry, registration, a tour with the Headmaster, an offer of a place made up to 24 months ahead of the proposed start date, a formal offer letter and deposit, and a settling-in day to meet your child’s teacher and class before they start.

Is priority given to siblings or Woodentops Nursery children?

Yes. Because places for Reception at this popular prep school in Clapham are in high demand, priority is given to siblings of current pupils and to children already attending Woodentops Nurseries.

Registration

Prospective families are able to register their children at any point from birth and are asked to return their completed registration form with the £70 +VAT Registration Fee. You will then be added to our mailing list to receive invitations to prospective family events and Open Mornings. Any families wishing to attend these events should contact Admissions.
