At The White House Prep, we are delighted to have a strong bursary provision. Should you wish to apply for a bursary, you can do so online here.
At White House School, we are committed to making an exceptional education accessible to as many families as possible. Our bursary programme is a meaningful part of that commitment, providing financial support to pupils who would thrive at the school but for whom full fees would represent a significant barrier.
What is a Bursary and How Does It Work?
A bursary is a means-tested award that reduces the level of fees a family pays. Bursaries at White House are awarded based on financial need, taking into account household income, outgoings, and individual circumstances. Each application is considered carefully and individually, and we encourage any family who thinks they may qualify to get in touch to find out more before applying.
Who Can Apply for a Bursary at White House School?
Bursaries are available to families applying for a place at White House School. Applications are welcomed from families across all year groups, from Reception through to Year 6. If you are considering applying for a place and financial support may be a factor in your decision, we would encourage you to begin a conversation with the admissions team as early as possible.
Where Do White House School Pupils Go After Year 6?
White House School has a strong record of preparing pupils for competitive secondary school entry. At our most recent Year 6 leavers cohort, 60% of children achieved a scholarship offer from their senior school, with over 100 offers received from top London, boarding and grammar schools. These included St Paul’s, Dulwich College, Alleyn’s, Emmanuel, JAGS, Francis Holland, City of London, Wimbledon High, Benenden, and Brighton College, among others.
This record reflects the quality of teaching and the ambition of the school, and it means that pupils leaving White House are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education, wherever that may be.
