Roman feast

Our Year 3’s stepped back in time this term as they enjoyed a Roman feast! Dressed in homemade togas, the children reclined on their sides just as ancient Romans once did. They sampled a delicious spread of honey cakes, grapes, salad, olives, and dates, discovering flavours that would have been common at a Roman banquet. It was a wonderfully immersive way to bring history to life and helped the class experience Roman culture in a fun, memorable way- fortunately, there were no dormice or flamingo brains to taste!
Open Morning

We are delighted to invite you to a private Open Morning event, exclusively for families looking at Reception and occasional places in our older years.

The Open Morning will take place on Friday 6th February and will begin at 9:30am with guided tours with pupils from Year 6, who will have recently finished their 11+ exams and will be able to talk to you about their experience and their amazing school offers including St Paul’s, King’s Wimbledon, Dulwich College, Alleyn’s, Emmanuel, JAGS, Francis Holland, City of London, Westminster, Wimbledon High, Benenden, Brighton College and more. With 40% of children receiving scholarships in Art, Music, Sport, DT and Academics, we are proud to deliver a range of choices for our families.

The tour will give you a closer look at what happens in the classroom from Reception-Year 6 with a chance to explore our Super Curriculum which includes Nurture in Reception, Enterprise lessons, Choice and our Futures programme in Year 6 – areas where we can develop children’s natural curiosity to enhance their learning and interests outside the classroom.

The school offers wrap around care from 8am-6pm with 14 weeks of holiday camps if required.
